NOTE & TRANSLATION: two quotes from his 1957 poetic essay «Pour un funambule» : «The public? They only see fire, and thinking you’re playing, ignoring you’re the incendiary , applauded the fire. (…) The ground will make you stumble.» The little figure is my personal tribute to Philippe Petit.
